Series consists of records created and/or maintained by the First Nations Statistical Institute. The records in this series brings together records relating to the administration and management of the First Nations Statistical Institute during the relatively short period of time during which the Institute operated. Included in the series are eleven separate sets of records for Meetings (2008-2012), Draft Minutes (2008-2012), Adopted Minutes (2008-2013), Orders in Council (2008-2012) and By-Laws (2012). There are also records related to the main committees of the Institute, the Executive Committee (2010-2012), the Audit Committee (2011-2012), the Policy Review and Human Resources Committee (2008-2013) and the Statistics Committee (2012). Finally, there are records that document the Management of Board Records (2012) and the Final Dissolution Plan (2012) implemented by the Institute when it was eliminated in 2012.

As a committee-driven organization, the records consists of agendas, minutes (draft and final) and resource documentation created by FNSI personnel.
