This sub-sub series provides rich material on Allan J. MacEachen's office proper. There are directives to staff, files on personnel policy, office procedures and organization and accommodation. There is a very extensive run of nominal personnel files, some very substantial, holding information on MacEachen's staffers, employees such as William MacEachern, Alain Dudoit, Frank McKenna, Sean Riley, J. Yanover, Tom Van Dusen and Dr. R. Jackson. Of especial note are files on the Legislative Unit in the Privy Council Office, and files of memoranda from a long and comprehensive list of MacEachen's staffers from 1970 to 1979, where a researcher can locate valuable information on major political issues, policy positions and the preparation of legislation.
