General note:

This accession contains material mainly pertaining to the construction of the Gatineau Preservation Centre building for the former National Archives, now Library and Archives Canada. The photographs include scenes of construction at various stages of the building. Also included are photographs taken during tours of other international archival facilities in preparation for the construction of the new building, and photographs of specifications for other National Archives facilities (e.g. shelving, storage).
