Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Canadian Government Travel Bureau (CGTB) of the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce (ITC). CGTB was responsible for promoting travel within Canada and coordinating foreign promotional activities.

Subjects cover administrative and operational aspect of CGTB's work. This includes, but is not limited to organization, meetings, reports, market research, and publicity of tourism and travel within Canada and abroad.
