General note:

The Transportation Employees Canadian Union (TECU) was originally established as the Brotherhood of Railway Running Trades Union in 1959. The name was changed to TECU in 1971. The union aimed to be a national union and remove international unions from the Canadian transportation sector. The TECU appears to have folded by the early 1980s.
