Shot of the contingent mustering in England and pre-invasion activity in North Africa (Sousse Tunisia) loading onto landing craft en-route to Sicily, PPCLI fighting and marching in Sicily, Lord Stathcona and Governor General's Foot Guard armored teans in action and on the move, infantry in action on the Italian peninsula Regiment Vingt Deuxième, Seaforth and Gordon Highlanders, 48th Highlands and Prince Edward and Hastings troops in action and on the march, Royal Canadian Artillery columns on the move, Generals Montgomery and Simmons with the troops, PPCLI marching into battle, Ortona an fighting in built-up areas troops from the Loyal Edmonton Regiment "mouse-holing" the Christmas dinner at Ortona, PPCLI and other infantry troops drinking wine, a Christmas Mass, German prisoners of war being marched to detention camps, tending to the wounded (both sides), battle-worn PPCLI Pioneers getting on ship, troops getting off ship (in England) with PPCLI officers greeting their troops on shore.
