This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of April 2010.

It includes photographs of Mr. Harper at the Global Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, D.C. (April 12 and 13). He met with U.S. President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, South African President Jacob Zuma, Chinese President Hu Jintao and others.

The month was marked by the death of Polish President Lech Kaczyński in a plane crash on April 10, 2010. Mr. Harper attended a number of events and ceremonies honouring the President, his wife and the many deceased officials.

The photographs document New Zealand Prime Minister John Key's visit to Ottawa (April 14) and a ceremony marking the anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge at the National War Memorial in Ottawa (April 9).

The sub-sub-series also documents Canadian rock band Nickelback's visit to 24 Sussex and the Prime Minister's attendance at Nickelback's show in Ottawa (April 11).
