This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of April 2009.

It includes photographs of Mr. Harper at an audience with Queen Elizabeth II (April 1) and at the G20 Summit in London (April 2). The G20 Summit was followed by a NATO meeting in Strasbourg, France (April 3 and 4). The photographs show Prime Minister Harper in discussions or working meetings with U.S. President Barack Obama, Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanadar. This trip to Europe was also marked by a visit by the Harper family to the Abbey Road recording studios in London (April 3).

There are also photographs of Mr. Harper at the Summit of the Americas in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (April 18 and 19). The Prime Minister took advantage of the trip to hold bilateral meetings with Mexican President Felipe Calderón, Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, Haitian President René Préval, Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa and others. Mr. Harper then travelled to Kingston, Jamaica, for a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Bruce Golding (April 21).
