Collection search - Manuscript maps from the Geological Survey of Canada "plain" series [cartographic material]

This material was transferred to the Archives by the Geological Information Division of the Geological Survey of Canada in Nov 1981.

Material from RG45M 83403/21 was initially described in one series which identified five distinct groups. These groups were assigned a letter designation - A series, B series, C series, D series, and E series - and the items were assigned numbers beginning with this series designation. In 2019 the description of this material was updated to reflect these groups and five individual series were created.

The material in this series has been divided into sub-series' by province or territory and then arranged alphabetically by geographic location. Each map in this series has been assigned an item number beginning with the letter D, followed by a Roman numeral indicating the sub-series, and a sequential number for the item. Please note that although the number IX has been reserved for Prince Edward Island, there is no material from that province in this series.

Scales differ.
