This is a preliminary description; consult the linked accession records. Sub-series consist of documentation of the laboratories of the National Research Council's (NRC's) Division of Mechanical Engineering, including the: Engine Laboratory, Engineering Laboratory, Fuel and Lubricants Laboratory, Hydraulics Laboratory, Instrument Laboratory, Low Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory, and Low Temperature Laboratory. (Note the photographs from the Low Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory predate the National Aeronautical Establishment's separation from the Division of Mechanical Engineering.)
