This file contains architectural and design drawings of the Man the Explorer theme pavilion that was designed and built for Expo 67. This structure was a temporary Canadian government-sponsored pavilion located in Expo Area: Ile Sainte-Hélène. The Man the Explorer complex consisted of three separate building units, housing four thematic exhibit areas connected by aerial decks and walkways. The four exhibition areas were the Man and the Polar Regions exhibit (see Key Ref. 320A), the Man and the Oceans exhibit (see Key Ref. 320B), the Man, His Planet and Space exhibit (see Key Ref. 320C), and the Man and Life exhibit (see Key Ref. 320D). The owner and contracting body of this building was the Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition. The design architect was Affleck, Desbartes, Dimakopoulos, Lebensold, Sise, Montreal.
