The records in this sub-series consist of the records of No.1 Canadian War Crimes Investigation Unit. The files were maintained as part of the Canadian Military Headquarters subject files and were all prefixed with the number 67. The records document both the organization and establishment of the unit, their procedures and the cases in which they investigated individual Germans and Japanese for war crimes against Canadian military personnel.
