This sub-series consists of hospital accreditation surveys completed for the Canadian Council on Hospital Accreditation. The surveys contain detailed information on many hospital departments and functions including the services the hospital provided, the number of beds, names of the senior officers, hospital policies, details of the number of diagnoses per hospital department, and the number and type of operations performed. The series also includes reports discussing the Council's recommendations to Shaughnessy, and other related reports, accreditation guides, and correspondence.
