The sub-series consists of files related to consultant work Mr. Fullerton performed for British Columbia, Newfoundland, Quebec and Saskatchewan governments. The files mostly include correspondence, reports (including financial documents: bonds, company value and cost estimations), meeting minutes, press clippings and speeches. For the British Columbia government, Mr. Fullerton mainly worked on the evaluation of the value of the BC Power Corporation Limited (bonds and shares value included) (1959-1962). Also interested in Court decisions regarding BC Power Corporation Limited (1963).
It is for the Quebec government that the services of Mr. Fullerton were mostly retained. In 1962, under the P.Q. Prime Minister Jean Lesage and Natural Resources Minister René Lévesque, Mr. Fullerton participated in the takeover of ten major hydro-electric power companies by the government of Quebec. Mr. Fullerton and his Advisory Firm mainly worked on power companies' value and cost estimates, resulting in the presentation of offers to shareholders of the then private power companies. This series also includes other consultation for the P.Q. government and its institutions, for example for the Société general de financement regarding the possible merger and takeover of Forano and Volcano industries - 1965, for the Sidérurgie du Québec (Sidbec) regarding its financing, and for Hydro-Québec regarding the Hamilton Falls Power Corporation (now the Churchill Falls Corporation) - 1964.
The Newfoundland and Labrador government files included in this sub-series are documenting the participation of Mr. Fullerton as the Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro Chairman, present at key events such as the Eastern Premiers Conference on Regional Power Grid - 1975.
The Saskatchewan government files include material documenting the participation of Mr. Fullerton as the nationalization of the Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. in 1975.
