This sub-series contains miscellaneous records from Norman M Paterson's home and office. Included are:
Publications related to the grain trade and lake shipping; - binders containing information on Paterson ships, rates cargoes and distances from 1939 to 1946; - genealogy information and letters from his family members found in the diaries of Mrs. Paterson; - certificates of appreciation and membership documents; - guest book produced by the Windigo Hunt Club; - reports on mining.

The oldest documents of the fonds can be found in this sub-series which include:
The Paterson family armorial dated ca. 1880; - letters written by Hugh S. Paterson (father of Norman M. Paterson); - the certificate of marriage of Norman M. Paterson and Eleanor Margaret MacDonald dated 2 June, 1915; - Wills and Testaments; - letters written by their children; - Norman M. Paterson's personal agendas (6) dated 1925 to 1930; - letters soliciting industries for Fort William during the Great Depression of 1929; - bank account books; - albums of clippings pertain to Norman M. Paterson's business and family activities.
