A documentary made under professional direction by Inuit students who have come South for a better education. The documentary explores the trauma and drastic changes these students face in this transition. This film does not propose instant solutions. It simply acts as a catalyst to promote discussions regarding modern-day Inuit. Who are they? What are their feelings? What is the direction of their education? Can they retain their culture? The film does not attempt to answer these questions fully, but serves to open up avenues of communication between Inuit and non-Inuit. Title: QALLUNANNI IN WHITE MAN'S LAND
