Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Yukon Regional Office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, including both the Indian and Inuit Affairs Program, and the Northern Affairs Program.

The accession contains records arising from the Funding Services, Regional Director, and Communications Directorate offices, and includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: economic development contribution agreements; Farm Credit Corporation loans; natural resources, including tourism, and resource development impacts; education; news releases; land applications; committees and task forces, including the implementation review committee, Placer Strategy Task Force, and the Yukon Advisory Mining Committee; and information services, including policy, contracts, studies, press releases, speeches, and clippings, transcripts and other media monitoring records.
