The records in this accession consist of two series of printed documents, one bound and published by the Department of Marine and Fisheries (after 1936 by the Department of Transport), the other printed by the Winnipeg Meteorological Office. The first items comprise the annual compilation of monthly meteorological reports for the Dominion of Canada in 28 individual volumes for the years 1905-1909, 1910-1912, 1913-1914, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923, 1924, 1931, 1932, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1939, 1940, 1941. These include daily temperature and rainfall readings, seismological activity, and pressure readings, etc. The second series of documents are weather maps produced each day by the meteorological office in Winnipeg. These are 18 bound books and include in the margins cross-Canada weather information.
