Collection search - Museum Assistance Program records of the Western Region [textual record]

Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Western Region of Heritage Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to grants given to museums in British Columbia and Alberta, including the Edmonton Art Gallery, Fort Chipewyan Historical Society, Glenbow Museum, Luxton Museum Society, Michif Historical and Cultural Preservation Society, Musée Heritage Museum, Medicine Hat Museum and Art Gallery, McBride Museum Society, Nickle Arts Museum, Normandeau Cultural and Natural History Society, Old Man River Cultural Centre, Provincial Museum of Alberta, Peigan Nation, Reynolds-Alberta Museum, Science Alberta Foundation, Tsuu T'ina Museum Society, University of Alberta, and University of Lethbridge Art Gallery.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
