Apotex is a generic drug maker with experience using Canada's Access to Medicines Regime (CAMR) which was passed in 2004. Apotex has been granted the only contract but refuses to apply again unless CAMR is irmproved. Bill C-393 is Wasylycia-Leis' private members' bill intended to fix the problems with CAMR that impede the export of cheaper generic drugs.
