Information has come to light that the police had suppressed evidence that would have acquitted them. The bombing turned out to be part of an Irish Republican Army campaign. Interviewees include lawyers Alistair Logan and Gareth Peirce, who worked on the defence of the Guildford Four. The documentary explores other wrongful convictions, other cases such as that of the Birmingham Six and evidence of massive cover-ups in the British justice system. Included is part of the song, “Streets of Sorrow, Streets of Shame” by The Pogues. <31mn 17s>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
