Interviewees include: Jean [Waddell], secretary to the Anglican bishop in Tehran, who was taken hostage in Iran and whose freedom was negotiated by Terry Waite; BBC correspondent Keith [Graves]; and Iranian-born journalist Amir Taheri, author of the book “Holy Terror”. Also included are excerpts of a BBC interview of Waite, describing his job and how he negotiates. Issues discussed include: Waite’s method of working; details of his most recent visit to Lebanon and troubles encountered; and suspicion about whether he works too closely with the Americans, compromising his claim that he works independently. <17mn 29s>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
