Scharansky has just been released by the Soviet Union and has moved to Israel. Included are interviews of Leonid Feldman and Alex Goldfarb, two Russian Jews who managed to get out of the Soviet Union, and now live in New York. Feldman recalls how Scharansky advised him to go on a hunger strike in order to be allowed out of Russia. Alex Goldfarb met Scharansky in the Moscow refusenik movement in the early 1970s and managed to get an exit visa to Israel in 1975. <18mn 47s>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
