"[...] The voice on this Pilot tape is that of George Cavender, assistant conductor of University of Michigan Bands, while he conducted the performance tapes of the "Convocation from the Tower Concerto" and the "Nocturne for two trumpets," and the final rehearsal of the "Little suite" (this final rehearsal recording was considered so good that it was used for making the performance tape of the "Little suite" , and therefore agrees. Because the pilot tape was recorded beside the carillon keyboard, the noise of the keyboard can be heard on it. This noise is not on the performance tapes."
