The dates were taken from: Facsimiles of rare historical maps ... compiled by Walter W. Ristow ... Third edition ... Washington, D.C. 1968, in which this facsimile was announced. The location of "Ille de Sierta", which differs from earlier states, indicates that this change was made, probably, after 1659. If the original of this facsimile was published in a Blaeu atlas it must have been after 1649 -- for this edition has a different location for the Ile de Sierta" and before 1662 because in that year this map was replaced by another one. [K., Bl. 56, Vol. I. p. 203]. The absence of original text on the back of the facsimile renders it imposible to determine in what language edition - if at all - was the original map published.
