These black and white Enumeration area (EA) reference maps cover all 25 Census metropolitan areas (CMAs) and the 18 Census agglomerations (CAs) that are in the Census Tract Program. There is generally one map per census tract - showing the EA boundaries and codes on a background of detailed street networks and other visible features. Also shown on the map are Census tract (CT), Census subdivision (CSD), Federal electoral district (FED), CMA and CA boundaries.

Arrangement note:

The computer files are arranged by province, according to the designations of the "Standard Geographical Classification (SGC)," Statistics Canada's official classification for geographic areas in Canada. The provincial codes are: 10 Newfoundland and Labrador; 11 Prince Edward Island; 12 Nova Scotia; 13 New Brunswick; 24 Quebec; 35 Ontario; 46 Manitoba; 47 Saskatchewan;48 Alberta; 59 British Columbia; 60 Yukon; 61 Northwest Territories. The naming convention for the individual map data files is: S-CensusYear-Province-Series-Unique ID-Title. In some cases, the "Province" and "Series" identifications can be inverted.
