Item is a letterbook of William Lambert containing copies of letters to and from Lambert and his son, William Lambert Jr., during the latter's voyages on trade ships until his death in 1807. Also included are letters from prisoners in the Halifax Prison, Nova Scotia, during the Revolutionary War, and letters concerning Lambert's role in the Roxbury (Massachusetts) Charitable Society.
