Greeting card signed by Ernest Lamarque in 1961, featuring a reproduction of a landscape painting by Lamarque depicting Whitewater, B.C.. Image includes mountains in the distance and cottages on the left.
The Hudson's Bay Company opened Whitewater, B.C. (situated on the Finlay River) as an Outpost of Fort Grahame in 1927. When a post office was put there in 1938, it became known as Fort Ware.
