General note:

This work is one of a set of four designs labeled set "A" one set "B" and two sets "C." The artist initially submitted three sets of four stamp designs in July and a second set "C" in August ; based on information found in the Post Office Department fonds.

Physical description note:

Design (10.0 x 18.0 cm) depicts multi-coloured abstract landscape with blue sky and stylized Quebec fleur-de-lis symbol in u.l. ; Quebec caption and numeric denomination are stylized with portions missing ; design is one of four in set "A" ; Typographic layout : 40 cents.
