BRADY'S BEASTS is an animated television series for children featuring a twelve-year old boy by the name of Brady Plunkett who lives in a whimsical new-millennium world where children are clamoring to replace their goldfish, puppies, hamsters and other cute household pets with horrifying, erratic and often carnivorous monsters. Raising these hideous semi-domesticated creatures of all shapes, sizes and appetites is not easy. While kids do not tend to be scared of them, the adults are utterly petrified. That's why children often end up calling Brady Plunkett, a true monster-rights activist, to help ease the potentially risky adoption process. In each episode, we learn the dos, don'ts, and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a beast. In addition, each episode contains two separate stories. In the first story of this episode, an evil shadow creature, Wraith, turns people into zombies by stealing their shadows. Brady, Ember and Virgil, the only people who managed to resist the process of zombification, set out to save the people of Ravenville. They put together a plan to capture the evil Wraith with the help of high-powered spotlights and Vlad, a vampire that is shadowless by nature. While in the first story Brady saves people from becoming permanent zombies, in the second story he prevents the Medusa, brought to life by mistake, from turning everyone into stone with her petrifying gaze. By putting a special pair of high-tech supersonic industrial-strength ultra-violet hyper-reflective sunglasses on Medusa's head, Brady manages to neutralize her paralyzing gaze, thus transforming the creature into a good Ravenville citizen and a personal friend. <24mn 15s>
