This sub-series contains the working files managed by Jean Chrétien's personal assistant, Monique Bondar, and then by Carole Côté who succeeded her in 2001. These consist of memos, correspondence, a large number of handwritten notes, invoices, telephone conversation transcripts, annotated CVs, nominal lists, contracts, and various reference materials. It also contains twenty-three (23) architectural drawings.

These working files concern the most personal component regarding the activities and status of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. For example, it contains records of: certain trips taken by members of the Chrétien family; various requests addressed to the Prime Minister or his wife (i.e. requests for enrolment or participation in certain events, etc.); gifts received; holidays and recreation of the Prime Minister and his family; the renovation, furnishing and decoration of 24 Sussex, the Prime Minister's wardrobe; etc.

It also contains files on ethics and conflicts of interest, and on the professional and personal relations maintained by Jean and Aline Chrétien. Leadership within the Liberal Party is addressed, with a focus on (among other things) the rivalry between Paul Martin and Jean Chrétien. The files also include policy reports and information exchanged between Raymond Chrétien, Canada's Ambassador to the United States, and Prime Minister Chrétien.
