Series comprises business and personal records relating to the life and career of Jack Nichols. A small amount of material was received in 2007 and included the following items: the official appointment of Nichols as a Sub-Lieutenant to the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, dated 1945; Nichols' appointment to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, dated 1951; a 1953 certificate from her Majesty the Queen awarding Nichols a medal; a mss. letter to Nichols from Edith McIver, dated 1970; and several clippings of reviews of the artist's exhibitions.

A large accrual, received in 2010, was organized into the following sub-series: Business correspondence - nominal; Business correspondence - general; Personal correspondence - nominal; Personal correspondence - general; Business and inventory records; Personal material and ephemera; Publicity; and Published material.
