Item is a fire insurance plan of Montreal, Quebec. It includes two unnumbered sheets: a title page with indexes to streets and specials, and an index to block numbers. Sheet 800A is of a Key Plan [scale 1:6 000]. Sheets 800B to 800F are of Key Plans [scale 1:6 000] for Future Volumes IX to XII respectively. Sheets are numbered 803, 805, 807, 811, 813, 834, 839, 840, 849, 850, 859, 869, 902, 903, 906, 907, 915, 918-923, 928, 929, 932, 933, 939, 940, 944, 945, 948, 953, 954, 969, 1002, 1003, 1007, 1008, 1012, 1013, 1024, 1025, 1027, 1053, 1054, 1056, 1131, 1132, 1139, 1140, 1150, 1246, 1247, 1269, 1274-1279, 1284, and 1288-1291..

Numerous factories are shown throughout the plan including "Canadian Steel Foundries Ltd." and "The Steel Co. of Canada Ltd." (sheet 803), "Naval Construction Works" by "Canadian Vickers Ltd" (sheet 813) and "Cement Works" by "The Canada Cement Co. Ltd." (sheet 945).
