The series consists of a drawing, a flag, a videocassette and a DVD.

The drawing is an oversize caricature done with marker of Mr. Hnatyshyn throwing a football. The caption reads "... and it's my ball" in English, French and Ukrainian. The caricature is signed by [Sebestyn?] and dated 1990.

The series includes a flag of Newfoundland dated 1992. The flag is covered in signatures that have been written in various types of ink. The signatures appear to be of students, community members, and members of Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion. In the middle of the flag the words "One Canada From Sea to Sea" have been written. The following names of communities in Newfoundland and Labrador have been written with the signatures on the flag: Baie Verte, Woodstock, Bonavista, Deer Lake, Seal Cove, Gander, Corner Brook, White Bay, Burlington, Roberts Bay, Labrador City, Bishop's Cove, Brigus, Buchans and Lewisporte. The messages and notes are written in English and French. The dates that appear on the flag range from May-July 1992. The flag is 6'x12'. It is likely that the flag was prepared by community members in Newfoundland and Labrador and given to Hnatyshyn as a gift as part of the events surrounding the 125th anniversary of Confederation.

The series includes an audiovideo cassette entitled "Comeback... the Story of the Ottawa Lynx" by Sound Venture Productions Ottawa Ltd., with the cooperation of CJOH TV, copyright 1993. The cassette was given to His Excellency by Richard G. Dearden of Gowling, Strathy and Henderson. The video features an approximately 1.5 second shot of Hnatyshyn in the Gowlings box at a baseball game. The video is approximately 24 minutes in length.

The series includes one optical disk of a biography of Hnatyshyn entitled "A Man For All Canadians: Ramon John Hnatyshyn - 24th Governor General of Canada". The film was produced in 2006 by IKOR Film Productions with funding from OMNI. The Executive Producer is Iryna Korpan.
