Every scene was filmed outdoors in a wooded area in New Jersey. A French-Canadian trapper arranges the marriage of his daughter to another trapper, and she rebels. Early in the film, the chase begins and the young woman runs through the woods, pursued closely by her purchaser-suitor. The young woman and her pursuer end up in the camp of some tourists. They protect the young girl at gun point. The next day, while she is out to get a bucket of water from the stream, she is captured, put in a canoe, and tied to a tree. The tourists who had befriended her earlier attempt to come to her rescue. At the peak of the fight, the young woman acquires a gun, and turns it on her suitor's enemies because she has decided to marry him after all.Language:Silent with English intertitlesNotes:Genre:DRAMADetailed holdings information: -
