This sub-series contains subject files compiled by the staff of Jean Chrétien's Parliament Hill office. The topics are wide-ranging and diverse. A number of them concern employment, the economy, and business development and assistance; others concern political and constitutional issues; and still others concern the management of the M.P.'s office.

The numerous topics in this sub-series reflect the full scope of Jean Chrétien's activities as an M.P. and as a Minister in various portfolios over a nearly 15-year period. However, it is possible to compile broad sets of subjects for these files, i.e.:

Management of M.P.'s office: House of Commons debates; deposit of Minister's records; office management forms; guidelines for M.P.s; guidelines for Ministers; employment applications; M.P. householders; airline reservations; etc.
