Laughing Mountain Communications Inc : Based in Vancouver, BC, Laughing Mountain Communications Inc. (LMCI) is a multidisciplinary communications company, incorporated in 1990. It specializes in writing, directing and producing services for the film and television industry. LMCI has produced television programming for all the major Canadian networks, as well as a number of cable and digital outlets. The company's television programs belong to a variety of genres including dramatic/comic series, mini-series, biographical series, movie-of-the-week, documentary and docudrama. Among LMCI titles, one can find Beachcombers; Close to Home (MOW); A Life of Independence; Somewhere Between; Madison; Eye Level; Stand-Up Samurais; My Mother; My Hero; Superkids; Dark Pines; Code Green Canada; and Mixed Blessings. Laughing Mountain Communications is currently developing the following projects: ZTV (a feature length black comedy); Last Laugh (theatrical feature); Only the Good (documentary/biographical series); Reborn (theatrical feature); and illCamera (factual TV series). The company's president is the award-winning writer/director/producer, Rick Beairsto.
