Radio drama. Randell Farrell introduces himself to Mrs. Constance Moon, a meal ticket, but soon finds a waitress, Gloria, more interesting. Meanwhile, Mrs. Moon's son Edward, who thinks of no one but himself, is in love with Eunice. Eunice shows him that he is a pampered mama's boy. Dr. Lyle Cameron, an older man, is attracted to Gloria and is so persistent that she is finally forced to tell him that he is too old. Randell (Randy) tells Constance (Connie) that she is too old. Edward leaves town to marry Eunice, Randy tells Connie. Dr. Lyle drowns. Mrs. Moon and Gloria console each other. It has rained most of the summer. The Small Rain is a hit tune. <1h>
