Families in Saint John, New Brunswick have been embracing children from Belfast, Northern Ireland since 1988 as part of the Belfast Children's Vacation Project. Every July, these 11 and 12 year olds spend a month in Canada and the seeds of intolerance and prejudice are slowly uprooted, with some Catholic and Protestant children even becoming friends. NEUTRAL GROUND takes a candid look at the project and how it can change these young people's lives. <47mn>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
