Their vision is to forge a path to peace through freedom of expression, impartial news, and debate. The programs give voice to Mogadishu's marginalized war-torn residents, including women's groups and human rights advocates without fear of being silenced. The venture is fraught with danger and HornAfrik is attacked more than once by angry warlords who gain from the country’s political unrest.
