Short film promoting Pathex's wide-ranging catalog of motion pictures for home exhibition. Shots from travelogues around the world are pushed as a way of experiencing exotic locales such as Holland, Nazareth, and the Arctic in the comfort of your own house. Entertainment possibilities arise with a selection of comedies starring Harold Lloyd, 'Snub' Pollard, Will Rogers, and the 'Our Gang' kids. Industrial films are also highlighted with a clip demonstrating how ball bearings are polished. A variety of reels on science is also available, with an example showing a scene from a chemical frost. Pathex's extensive collection of sports reels, adapted from the Grantland Rice Sportlights, includes slow-motion footage of Corbett and Tunney boxing, Nat Pendleton wrestling, Bobby Jones swinging his driver, and tennis champ Bill Tilden hitting a forehand. Real thrills in the Pathex catalog can be found with a Douglas Fairbanks film (Manhattan Madness) and various other adventure thrillers. As well, the Pathex catalog of motion pictures affords consumers the chance to see famous American historical figures such as Teddy Roosevelt and Calvin Coolidge, as well as a final shot of the Lincoln Memorial.
