A glimpse of the actual event is finally included, but the practice rides of the mounted escort constitute the main part of the film. Noteworthy sequences include: troopers at the Montreal Armoury cooling-off the horses after practice rides; the Mayor of Montreal, Camillien Houde "sitting-in" for the King during rehearsal in the special touring car; other vintage automobiles, including a Lincoln, carrying dignitaries; Montreal streets and landmarks, such as Sherbrooke and Côte St. Antoine Streets and Windsor Station. Personalities include: Escort Commander Captain Alec M. Fordyce; Colonel Van den Berg, Principal Staff Officer at Military District Headquarters; Brigadier General J.B.
