1941. A Nazi U-boat is sunk by the Royal Canadian Air Force. The only survivors are six fanatical Nazis who went ashore before the attack. The Germans capture a light plane and kill the pilots. The plane crashes and one of the Germans is killed. The remaining four arrive at a Hutterite settlement, nearly all of whom are fugitives from Nazi oppression. One of the Nazis is so impressed by their sincerity that he defends them against his commanding officers, who shoot him in the name of the Third Reich. The three survivors make for Vancouver. One is captured by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police while the other two meet an expert on Indian affairs and a well-known writer. They destroy his pictures and manuscripts and leave him tied up. Released, he captures one Nazi and gives him a thrashing. The last survivor boards a train bound for the American border on which he finds a Canadian soldier gone AWOL. Subduing the soldier, the German anticipates arriving on US soil where he can take advantage of American neutrality and demand deliverance to a German embassy.~But when the train is stopped and inspected by US customs officers, the Canadian convinces the officers to treat the two stowaways as unitemised freight and send them back to Canada. <123mn>

Print loaned to the Cinémathèque québécoise in April 1975, and returned in October 1975.~4. Film was released in the U.S. as THE INVADERS in a version cut to 107 minutes.
