The film explains that the length of time is required due to the administrative work involved in interpreting the resulting information and using it to ensure that there are adequate meat supplies throughout Britain. A farmer is disgruntled about having to give 12 days' notice. The film shows the path of another farmer's Fatstock Delivery Form as it goes from the auctioneer, to the area livestock supervisor and then to the Ministry of Food. Once the statistics are interpreted, plans made to distribute the meat, stocks released from cold storage, and steps initiated to pay the farmers, the meat gets onto the market. The first farmer resignedly fills out his form. <12mn>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
