Paratroop attack seen from the aircraft and from the ground. The film starts with the notice: "With Canada's lumber industry geared to all out war production, the following American film will be of particular interest to Canadian workers". Commandor-style training. Sequences on U.S. troops landing on beach, British soldiers searching for mines in desert, ski troops gliding by the camera, a submarine diving. Interior of U.S. submarine. High ranking allied military personnel are shown in meeting. George C. Marshall is there. Montage of U.S. industry and war effort. Sequence on Nazi VIP's and on Hitler visiting troops. Shots of several men hanging by the neck, civilians grieving. Sequences on Japanese soldiery, atrocities including burying people alive, impaling a child on a bayonet. Cut back to industrial montage with emphasis on lumbering. The film ends with the notice and questions: "This film programm has been presented to inform you on world events and how you are helping to share them. Did you find this film interesting? (a) obtain card from projectionist (b) fill in your comments (c) mail free to National Film Board. <3mn 45s>
