The program begins with Holmes performance of a number of poems. Cross then interviews Holmes concerning his work, the evolution and creation of his poetry, differences between poetry and prose, the empowerment derived from written poetry, his book Got No Flag at All published in 1992, and the publication and promotion of the book.
