This caricature was originally published in the "Kainai News" and was reprinted in Soop's monograph, "Soop Take A Bow" (Standoff, AL: Indian News Media Society, 1979)., Steinhauer "had to read the speech from the throne literally in the dark, Premier Lougheeds' [sic] policies were in the dark figurately ("Soop Take A Bow", p. 21).
