General note:

This print was published in the April 1813 issue of the "Port Folio" magazine. This periodical, founded in Philadelphia in 1801, was "Devoted to the Useful Science, the Liberal Arts, Legitimate Criticism, and Polite Literature," and it included a number of illustrations. American artist and architect William Strickland produced numerous aquatints for the "Port Folio."
