Inscription: And, all alone, in this shiver of being, we cling. / Tremble-slivered leaves branch off the twig. / Sailed lop-sided moon, slipping peg-happy / Between leaves, and out one-sided kiss. / Playing the cat, all record-purred at your feet / Filamentous hair meshed between your fingers, / You smiling between threads. If this timeless time / Of being when I am complete could have no cessation - if aftwards I could cross the feild not foot placing / Where you walked - if the grass we lay in were not / so finely stranded. Shrill train whistle with jagged voices: / These mark our love, lopsided caring, all done from one side, / And because I am a woman, bearing. (complete transcription)
