Depicted is a large red Soviet flag, bearing the hammer and sickle emblem, in the upper left corner. Running diagonally below the emblem, across the entire face of the flag, is a large black and white sign bearing the inscription: "SOVIET SCIENCE / -GOING OUT OF BUSINESS-". In the bottom right corner of the image, is the figure of a man wearing a white coat - presumably a scientist from another country - carrying away a Soviet rocket, which has just been purchased from the Soviet Space Program
